Just a few months before last Christmas, Sarah Mclean found herself without a home for herself and her two young children.
The 20-year-old had been living with her mother, but the pair had a rocky relationship.
When her mum moved into a one-bedroom unit, Sarah had no choice but to leave her job working in promotions and couch surf amongst her friends.

Sarah spent two months without a proper home before she was taken in by the San Miguel Family Centre in North Richmond, in Sydney’s north-west.
