A State Government housing trial has seen one low-income household re-homed in a private rental apartment in Perth.
More than 200 low-income households in WA have moved into private rental homes as part of the $14 million Assisted Rental Pathways Pilot (ARPP).
The cities of Stirling, Bayswater, Swan, Gosnells, Rockingham, Mandurah and Wanneroo were local government areas with the highest intakes, with 10 or more housed.
None were re-homed in the City of Vincent.
The pilot was a partnership with private landlords and the community sector and landlords who agree to participate are guaranteed rent for the duration of a residential tenancy agreement.
