Unity Housing and Oryx Property are the proud recipients of the Business Partner Award, presented at the PowerHousing Australia Member Exchange and National Awards, held in Canberra in August.
The award category – Business Partner – recognises a corporate/commercial partner or industry consultant working with a PowerHousing Australia (PHA) member to develop projects, developments or services that result in measurable improvements for the nominating organisation to positively contribute to the affordable housing sector.
Oryx Property (Oryx) has a long-standing commitment (circa 25 years) with Unity though the identification of added value initiatives, innovation, structuring strategic projects, strategic advice, housing models, and joint and external stakeholder and commercial partnerships. The partnership continually builds on this relationship, and recognises that Oryx has a comprehensive and integral understanding of Unity’s activities within the context of the broader housing sector.
The partnership also demonstrates the ability of Oryx to add ongoing commercial value to Unity. This is evidenced by direct involvement in strategic and project management of projects that have delivered more than 300 properties worth $85 million and added to Unity’s housing portfolio.
